About me
I’m a senior content designer with over a decade of experience turning complicated topics into content people actually understand, including health and finances. I’m now chasing a new challenge—rethinking how content is written and organized so AI assistants can act elegant and intelligent.
I’ve managed content operations for large libraries, stewarded a company-wide content design system, and worked cross-functionally on AI evaluations. I’ve hired, trained, and led writing teams through high-stakes seasons.
How I work
I do the hard thinking so the customer doesn’t have to. The simplest-looking content usually takes the most work. I chase down the truth and demystify it for customers.
I use both quantitative and qualitative data. Numbers tell me the what while customer feedback tells me the why and what’s next.
I think in systems, not one-offs. A single great article is good. A standard, a reusable component, or a process that makes the next hundred articles better is priceless.
I bring people with me. I’ve navigated busy seasons with shifting priorities and lots of change. The leadership I believe in is clear, kind, and honest.
Where I’ve been
Before content design, I was an email editor and a journalist. I ran newsletters reaching over a million readers and have experience in multimedia reporting. That foundation still shows up in my work—I present facts clearly and respect the reader’s time.
I studied journalism at San Diego State University, graduated cum laude in three years, and was my chapter’s president of the Society of Professional Journalists.
